Solid ratio for typical house washes. I bump up to 1.5% SH when dealing with heavy green algae on north-facing walls. Also, Elemonator as the surfactant makes a huge difference in dwell time vs generic dish soap.

In Arizona heat I have to be really careful about dwell time — 5 minutes max in summer or it bakes on. Pre-wet everything twice as much as you think you need to.

This is my go-to recipe. One thing I'd add: for stucco with heavy organic staining, bump to 4% and let it dwell 12 minutes. Rinse really well — stucco holds SH longer than vinyl.
